- A Region 8 bank is growing. Cross County Bank, which is headquartered in Wynne, is purchasing SOUTHBank, F.S.B. SOUTHBank is headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama and has branches in Arkansas. Those 3 branches are in Blytheville, Manila and Osceola. According to a news release Monday, SOUTHBank has $110 million in assets. The sale is expected to be completed by mid-fall of 2015. Once the sale of the 3 branches is approved by federal regulators, they will operate under the name of First Commercial Bank.
